Balleteatrinho is a workshop where participants are invited to experiment with movement and the interpretation of a children's literary work. It is a workshop to raise awareness and introduce them to the world of dance, theater, cinema, circus, visual arts and music, by stimulating their creativity and imagination. At the end of the session, family members are invited to watch the results of the workshop in a short play presented by the participants.

Sónia Cunha was born in Porto. She has been teaching classical ballet at balleteatro since 1996. She began her classical dance studies at the Fátima Valle da Veiga Ballet School, following the method of the Royal Academy of Dancing. She completed the Professional Dance Course at the Balleteatro Professional School in 1994. She has been a performer with Balleteatro Companhia since 1992, where she has danced various pieces by Isabel Barros and Né Barros. She has attended workshops led by Jordi Cortês Molina, João Fiadeiro, Clara Andermatt, Peter Michael Dietz and Paulo Ribeiro, among others. She teaches ballet at the Escola Profissional do Balleteatro. She collaborated with the Ensemble group on the movement for the play “Vivo (coração) Morta” in 2020.
