Workshop TÉCNICA DE MICHAEL CHEKHOV
Workshop com Jakub Margosiak
The course is an intensive and in-depth introduction to Michael Chekhov's technique. Chekhov developed a totally psycho-physical approach that offers simple tools for working with the imagination, the body and the emotions. This technique involves the actor's entire body and stimulates their psyche and emotional states, allowing the actor to transform into another character. During the course, we will explore what it really means to involve the whole body in physical actions and how rich the psychological response to this can be.
The great advantage of Michael Chekhov's technique is that it allows you to use your imagination to create a character, helps you connect deeply with your body and understand the intangible and psychological processes that happen within the body, allowing you to reconnect with your creative energy.
The class will consist of some tools from Michael Chekhov's technique:
- Qualities of Movement
- 3 centres: Wanting, Feeling, Thinking
- Expansion - Contraction
- Psychological Gesture
Workshops aimed at actors, dancers, performers, directors, people interested in self-development.
