DO PRINCÍPIO AO FIM (?)

Inspired in the St. Matthew Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach this choreography had the intention to build a choreographical discourse that conducted a body through the narrative aspects of the passion of Christ. Bodies in motion appropriated by shape which do not convey concrete meanings of life, but which try to achieve and become apparent on the outside the states provoked by those meanings. These states are alternated and blended with suffering, fading, explosive energies and drives. They are material bodies that at times wished they could be “souls” so that the body itself would be in the way of the eternal interior movement. (Né Barros)
